Go to Google Maps and put in the Control Point address.  Look at the sign at the side of the road.  It says "WLO Radio."

Here's what I think.  The U.S. Government (C.I.A. maybe) bought those unused radio facilities and licenses.  They are operating clandistine comms using those systems.

What do you think?  I am still investigating, I'll let you know if I have any ideas.  I MIGHT just send them a resume, just to see if there is any response.  I doubt it.

I find it odd and someone unbelievable that someone could afford all of this infrastructure to provide HF comms to business and government entities on a contingency basis.  How are they making money?

The company received a waiver for these stations to operate Part 80 stations for both marine and land mobile use.
