Here is pretty neat airplane. I hope they don’t come and kill me for showing this video. For the rest of our little group, I assure you that I know what I signed and when I signed it. I will never divulge any national secrets now or never. Pertaining to the HGE there are still many many national secrets that I would not put on this blog  or any other. I have served my country proudly over the years and will continue to do so.

This video link is fresh for the public. It was made just weeks ago in the Atlantic, just off Newport News ( Hampton Roads), Virginia . These are the latest sea trials of the F-35B on the USS Wasp. They were very successful, with 74 VL's and STO's in a three week period.

The media and the program critics had predicted that we would burn holes in the deck and wash sailors overboard, neither of which happened. You will notice a sailor standing on the bow of the ship as the jet rotates.

That was an intentional part of the sea trials. No catapult...no hook. It’s a new world out there!  The shape and scope of warfare Worldwide just changed.

Due to the places where I worked, I was accidently "exposed" to several secrets that I shouldn't have. Occasionally I see one or the other in print.

The hell of it, though, is that I don't know which ones are now declassified -- so I tend to forget I know them. Probably a good idea.

Hi all,
Utube is full of vids on the F-35B, very interesting but some of the reports are not very complimentary about its ability.
Some say it has turned out to be an expensive lemon compared with its potential opposition.

I just saw on the news tonight the Navy is testing a UAV on the carrier. The launched It via the cat. They said they will try recovering a UAV this summer. Times are a changing.

John that seems to be the US Govt. way, they throw money at projects that don’t prove to be successful in the first place.

Yes Earl you are probably right – just forget about the things and be safe.
