Dear friends, compañeroas, comrades and colleagues:

After a wee break (we’re a volunteer project and don’t have any of the support that paywalled journals do) Interface: a journal for and about social movements is back, free (open-access) as always and oriented to dialogue between activists and researchers around the world.

Issue 15(1) is 203 pages with 10 items, including articles by Burcu Binbuga on anti-mining mobilization in Turkey, Gino Canella on the distribution of social movements, Madeline Lord on radical democracy in Mexico and Kurdistan, Thomas Piñeros Shields on protest against Trump’s Muslim ban, David Purucker on the meaning of membership in the DSA, Taura Taylor on the natural hair movement and Anna Willow on the transition movement.

We also have a call for papers in Spanish and English on transnational repression and social movements.
