This webinar focuses on the domestic and community care chapter of the report Care Work in the Just Transition: An International Inquiry, centering the discussion on the significance of the just transition strategy for domestic and community-caring workers. Considering housework as a set of tasks performed in both domestic and community caring, that are key to social and ecological wellbeing, this report has been built on testimonies from four representatives of domestic and community carers working in Italy, Peru, the UK, and at the international level, integrated by a desk review of recent reports on care work in the planetary crisis.

Este seminario web se centrará en el capítulo sobre cuidados domésticos y comunitarios del informe «Trabajo de cuidados en la Transición Justa: Una Investigación Internacional», haciendo hincapié en la importancia de la estrategia de transición justa para las y los trabajadores de cuidados. Entendiendo las tareas domésticas como un conjunto de labores realizadas tanto en el ámbito doméstico como en el comunitario, fundamentales para el bienestar social y ecológico, este informe se ha elaborado a partir de testimonios de cuatro representantes de cuidadoras domésticas y comunitarias que trabajan en Italia, Perú, el Reino Unido y a nivel internacional, complementados con una revisión documental de informes recientes sobre el trabajo de cuidados en la crisis planetaria.
