Most men are taught how to perform. Fewer are taught how to sit with uncertainty, about identity, role, or self.
What happens when those scripts begin to loosen?
We’re exploring this through an offline Men’s Circle, part research, part experiment, where discomfort isn’t avoided instead studied in real time.
We are looking for 2 Research Interns to support this exploratory study.

🔍 What you’ll work on
- Research design
- Data collection
- Documentation and organization of observations
- Assisting with analysis
- Co-writing an academic paper emerging from the study
This is an exploratory research effort, involving both subjective and objective methods. Depending on the final design, modalities may include:
- Self-reported / reflection-based inputs
- EEG
- Heart rate & blood oxygen tracking
- Video/audio-based tracking of micro-expressions and related signals
