Thanks for the information, Ashish. Sadly, the description of the workshop on the website itself has a problem:
"The scope of the Workshop on Engaging Diverse Knowledge Systems is to consider what systems of knowledge the IPCC can engage with and assess within the framework of existing principles and procedures."
It does not recognize that the problem is with the existing frameworks themselves, and that fitting other systems of knowledge (which are frameworks too) into 'existing frameworks' is not only impossible and contradictory but profoundly stupid.
I hope people from RED, ICCA, CEJ etc. can attend and point out this fundamental contradiction to the organizers.
