We are seeking two interns for a 3-month engagement (mid-Oct ’25 to mid-Jan ’26) to provide ideation and execution support for a 1300 km cycle yatra from Delhi to the iconic Gandhi Sevagram Ashram at Sevagram (Wardha, Maharashtra).
About the Initiative
Nyaya Chakra is an urgent, ambitious attempt to make a small but meaningful dent in the trust & talent deficit that clouds India’s criminal justice space.
The idea is to build a platform that connects:
Young law graduates who aspire to create a criminal law practice but lack lineage and mentorship.
Mentors – experienced legal practitioners who want to contribute meaningfully. Accused persons with limited means, who often struggle to access effective, affordable, and trustworthy representation.
Accused persons with limited means, who often struggle to access effective, affordable, and trustworthy representation.
By onboarding passionate lawyers, bridging trust with communities, and building mentorship layers throughout the country, the yatra aims to spark a flywheel effect: enabling young lawyers to earn and establish their practice, empowering under-represented individuals with legal support, and giving mentors a channel to contribute constructively.
About the Yatra
Flag-off: Nov 26, 2025, from Delhi
Closing: Jan 1, 2026, at Sevagram (Wardha, Maharashtra)
Route: 1300 km of cycling, community meetings, and outreach
Internship Role
Interns will primarily support digital and non-digital outreach, including:
Engagement with Bar Councils, nonprofits, and legal networks.
Public outreach (law students, young lawyers, communities).
Designing and executing digital campaigns.
Creating digital creatives, managing social channels.
Organizing and running on-ground meetups.
Hustling, ideating, and doing whatever it takes to make a constructive dent.
Who We’re Looking For
Preferably based in Delhi NCR, able to work from our Jangpura office.
Passionate about or intending to work in the criminal justice space.
Quick learners, self-starters, and willing to hustle.
Strong interest in outreach, communication, and social impact.
Honorarium
While this is primarily a volunteer-driven initiative, we will provide ₹10,000 per month as an honorarium.
 Supporters
This initiative is backed by a collective of public cause lawyers, along with organizations such as Corpus Juris India, Trijus and Tajurba Aur Guftugu (TAG).
