I hope this email finds you well, and Happy New Year! (regardless of all the madness of the world right now). I hope 2026 continues to be a year of mutual collaboration. 😊 

I want to invite you to join us this January 22nd to celebrate and learn together from the stories of system-change leaders in this virtual event: Celebrating the 2025 Next System Teach-Ins, Launching Toward 2027. We also kindly ask you, since the Global Tapestry of Alternatives is one of our partners and part of the Next System Task Force, to help us to promote and share this event among the GTA community. Thank you so much!

Across the Western Hemisphere last November, local groups, organizations and individuals teamed up to creatively gather their campuses and communities with a focus on taking responsibility for studying and building a just, democratic and sustainable next system. 

 

On January 22, we will learn from the work of local organizers, reflect on how to apply these lessons toward understanding, strengthening and activating a next system in our places as well as globally.

We will also share opportunities to work together going forward, and how you and your community can get involved.
