The Occupation of the American Mind - Corporate Media and the Construction of the Public Mind

The distinctions between North and South are not as clean as they used to be.  Out of 3,500 billionaires in the world, India has the third highest concentration.  The recent sharp increase in radical inequality.  Perhaps the conventional monster of "Corporations" becomes less relevant.  MNCs is better.  Most (90+%) corporations are Small and Medium-sized Corporations.  But not really accurate.  Power of all sorts vests from wealth, more than any other factor.  It's the billionaires (and now a trillionaire} who set the rules.

I say all this to point out it's not just the "American" Mind that has been "occupied."
