Dear colleagues,

We hope you have all had a festive and serene holiday break and a memorable leap into 2022. 

Finally, after two consecutive years of virtual SASE gatherings (2020, 2021), we are pleased to announce the 34th annual SASE conference, "Fractious Connections: Anarchy, Activism, Coordination, and Control", hosted by the University of Amsterdam from July 9-11 2022.

The hard deadline for submitting a paper or panel proposal to the Alternatives to Capitalism Research Network I is January 25th, 2022.

Fractious Connections: Anarchy, Activism, Coordination, and Control

 

“Alternatives to Capitalism” Research Network I

 

Abstract deadline: January 25th 

 

Join the growing and vibrant interdisciplinary SASE Alternatives to Capitalism Research Network I by submitting a paper abstract (max. 1000 words) or a session proposal (up to four presenters + 1 discussant). Note a session proposal must include both an overall abstract for the session and abstracts of the papers comprising the session. 


Thematic roundtable discussions and other alternative proposals such as documentary screenings and ‘meet-the-critics’ sessions centered on a newly published book are also encouraged – if interested, please contact us as soon as possible. 


Please submit your papers or panel proposals using the online system by going to https://sase.org/event/2022-amsterdam/ and creating an account or signing in (blue button, top right corner) and following the instructions. Early Bird registration fees are normally available until April 1, 2022. 


Early career scholars are eligible to apply for the Early Career Workshop. If selected, the conference fee cost and membership fee will be waived. For more info click here: https://sase.org/events/conference-submission-and-award-guidelines/
