Dear friends:

In the face of the growing destructive madness we are living through, I want to invite you to share, design, and build a great initiative together.

We all know that the world is caught in a spiral of violence that manifests itself in every sphere, degrading and ruining the lives of thousands of people every day, oppressing, killing, seizing the commons, and placing the survival of all species in imminent danger. Power seems to be in the hands of madmen, and institutional responses prove useless or insufficient.

We want to confront all of this collectively! We want to be protagonists of a strong, powerful action, capable of opening up the future, of setting a precedent—hopefully a historic one—that serves as a reference and has the greatest possible influence on a personal and social level.

Between September 27 and October 2, 2027, we will gather in Berlin people and organizations from around the world who embrace nonviolence to send a strong and unequivocal signal that nonviolence is not merely an ethical ideal, but a concrete social practice, a political and cultural strategy… and a personal attitude. We want to demonstrate that we can live differently, that the construction of a truly human civilization is not only possible but is already happening and growing across the globe. We will get to know one another, bear witness, exchange ideas, and share nonviolent experiences in all fields. We will screen films, put on plays, hold art exhibitions, give lectures, conduct workshops… everything our practice and imagination allow!

If your organization embraces nonviolence, we want you to join us, starting now, in building this possibility.

We invite you to a first meeting next Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Given the significant time differences between continents, we are organizing the meeting at two times: 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM CET. The main language will be English, with simultaneous translation into Spanish, Portuguese, and French (at a minimum).
