Dear friend / supporter of Auroville,

This petition has been made necessary by the misgovernance of the current administration of the Auroville Foundation. As you may have heard, since August 2021, it has used increasingly divisive and coercive methods to impose a narrow vision of Auroville’s development, excluding and intimidating those who do not support its line. It has taken direct control of Auroville’s internal working groups and denied recognition to Auroville’s Residents Assembly, one of the three bodies of the Auroville Foundation, thus stifling the genuine voice of the Auroville community.
