February 25 Abdullah Öcalan, the founding leader of the
Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) who has been held captive in
isolation for 26 years at the Imrali island prison, issued a
declaration for peace. Heeding that call, the PKK officially
dissolved itself. This session seeks to understand the context
of this PKK dissolution, its impact on the revolution in Rojava
/ North and East Syria, and future prospects.
