I am very new to OMV, but want to move from my Windows (2011...) to OMV. One of my favorite programs on the old server is TinyMediaManager to organzie my movies and series. I have seen that there is a docker file available, so that I can still use it in OMV.
I have tried to install it via URL in OMV itself (docker itself is configured and running, I have also successfully started jdownloader docker), tinymediamanager is shown in the list, but if I try to start it, there is only an error message:
On the other hand if I run the command from docker itself in a shell (docker -d and so on) the container is downloaded and successfully started, but then it is not shown in OMV in the list of containers. I can also not import it from file, also it is there.
for v5 you should probably re-think your approach, because I think the new setup won't work with the current shellscript (needs to be tested in either case). We do offer start parameters which tells tmm to be in a "read only" dir and writing everything to a "content" folder (-Dtmm.contentfolder) - see -/blob/v5/src/main/java/org/tinymediamanager/Globals.java#L52
