Dear peons

Tonight is the first Thursday of 2023, so of course there will be a First ThirstDay hash!

It will start with a gathering at 7pm, in WATERBEACH (a mere 4.99something miles from Cambridge), on the village green in front of the Sun Inn (https://goo.gl/maps/k6W2o6VKGdZ2gJ538 ) Or shortly before, in the Sun Inn, for those who prefer pre-lubrication before physical activity.

There will be a standard winter-length trail of 4 miles or so. With an alcohol-stop of some kind. And possibly budget-quality snacks too. There will hopefully be people attending that we haven't seen in a while, so bring along that xmas-card you intended to post really honestly but just couldn;t remember the address.

YOU WILL NEED A TORCH (or genetically-inherited echo-location skills). Shiny spotless new shoes and fiddly vehicles with teeny-tiny wheels are definitely not recommended. Parking near the Sun / village green is freely-available.

Like all FenceF***er trails. your personal survival is 85% guaranteed, but it might be wise to bring along some bandages and/or a tourniquet just in case.
