It's time for an Ely run! Join us on Sunday 2 February for a lovely run from Ely to the Green Dragon pub! We are hoping to assemble a largish group, there are plenty of folk who know the way, and we should hopefully have a reasonable spread of paces. So all the things will be good!

 

If you would like to join us you need to get the train to Ely!

 

10:50 Cambridge
10:54 Cambridge North

11:06 Ely

 

From Ely station, we will run back to Cambridge on the West bank (Turing Relay leg 1 and the first half of leg 2). The total distance is about 16 miles. End point: the Green Dragon pub, where we'll regroup for victory drinks!

 

Shortcut option: at 11.7 miles if you prefer to stop running, you have the option of getting the train from Waterbeach to Cambridge North, which leaves at 13:06 (or 14:06), and you can easily get from there to the Green Dragon pub. Note when you buy your ticket that a return ticket only costs 10p more than the single - you can make your choices!! A single from Waterbeach to Cambridge North costs £2.70, or other runners may have a spare return, for anyone who made the wrong choice...
