Lovely hashers,
Happy February. I hereby remind you that the Sunday morning place to be is on the following train to Ely tomorrow (2 Feb):
10:50 Cambridge
10:54 Cambridge North
11:06 Ely
On that train, you may find quite a few other hashers. I don't know who is getting on at Cambridge, but certainly quite a few of us are getting on at Cambridge North (so don't panic if it's quiet before then). The train doesn't stop at Waterbeach.
Likely runners who I can remember: Winston (who says "despite my hashname, there will definitely be a slow group"), Will, LJ, William TP, David, Alex (Pinky Out), Veronika, Gus, me, Sally, maybe Ben, maybe other Ben, maybe Ed, Jeremy I think, and no doubt others too. I know of a small group (Anna, Chris H) who may meet us at the Green Dragon too.
It's going to be sunny! We will have a lovely run back on the West Bank (Turing Relay leg 1, followed by the first half of leg 2). I attach a picture of freshly baked hasher-bait prepared by the very wonderful LJ...
Your choices are: Lovely Run from Ely station to the Green Dragon pub (16 miles) OR Shorter Lovely Run from Ely station to Waterbeach (11.4 miles) and from there a) find your pre-stashed bike, b) get a lift in Winston's car (he has 4 spare seats) or c) get 13:06 or 14:06 train to Cambridge North & walk to the Green Dragon.
We will reconvene for Victory drinks / food at the Green Dragon, where we may well be joined by even more hashers.
On on, and on and on!
