Folks,

By popular demand, this Thursday 14th May we welcome Patrick Wood 2E0IFB, in person, who will tell us all about his enigma machine replica.

Now retired, Patrick is former CEO of Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd following luminaries such as Prof. Sir Martin Sweeting G3YJO.

"I'm amazingly thankful for all the companies and roles I've had, but most importantly I've worked with some amazing people from the shop floor to the boardroom and been privileged to work for some exceptional leaders. I’ve had a great time and some amazing experiences, travelled a lot, led many product developments and delivered systems for many Customers including all the UK Armed Services including Skynet 5 satellites into orbit."

Previous employments include companies such as Airbus and Lockheed Martin Space.

Patrick is now an RSGB board director, amongst many other volunteer roles & activities "giving back" to engineering generally.

Refreshments (tea/coffee) will be available as usual, with biscuits. Please bring a mug if you wish to partake. You are also welcome to bring along your favourite tipple.
