GB3RD net night this week and committee meeting night Thursday 21st August

Folks,

Firstly, many thanks to all who attended the recent social evenings at the Park House pub on Reading university campus.

This Thursday 21st August is a GB3RD net night and committee meeting night, both starting at 8pm.

We are currently holding committee meetings at the Flowing Spring public house on the Henley road postcode RG4 9RB. If you wish to attend, please let myself of Simon know as space is limited. Alternatively, if you have any issues to be raised at committee, you are welcome to let Simon or myself know.

For 4 metre enthusiasts, there is a UK activity contest  8pm until 10:30pm.

On Thursday week 28th August, Liam W. Bussey has confirmed for his talk on atomic/quantum effect based radio receivers.

Finally, thanks to Chris M1CYE and Gary G4ELD for attending the 6-monthly "geek night" meet at Zero Degrees bar in Reading and spreading the word about RADARC and amateur radio.
