GB3RD net night & committee meeting night this week; events look ahead; correction to Photo contest date

Folks,

This Thursday 15th January is a GB3RD net night and committee meeting night, both starting at 8pm.

A correction to the announcement last meeting for the Photography Contest date: this is on Thursday 26th February. Apologies for the error there.

We are currently holding committee meetings at the Flowing Spring public house on the Henley road postcode RG4 9RB. If you wish to attend, please let myself of Simon know as space is limited. Alternatively, if you have any issues to be raised at committee, you are welcome to let Simon or myself know.

For 4 metre enthusiasts, there is a UK activity contest  8pm until 10:30pm.

On Thursday week 22nd January we welcome Neil Savin G3SVN (in person, no less) from Maidenhead and District Amateur Radio Club for a talk entitled "An Introduction to Vector Network Analysers (VNAs)". Many thanks to Neil for that. More soon.

In two weeks time on 29th January, Vin G4JTR will kindly host a top band net. More on that nearer the time though most details are on the website now, probably with my cut and paste errors from last time. There will be an accompanying zoom chat session. All welcome even if you are not on top band!

It's the Newbury club junk sale on the following Friday (30th Jan).
