Folks,
This Thursday 30th April we are over at Nick M0NPK's place for a bunch of practical activities.
Venue:
Lever's Piece Farm, Ryehurst Lane, Binfield. RG42 5QZ
And thanks to Ted for the What 3 words location for the entrance: proven.bleat.point.
Start time: 7:30pm onward. Not critical.
If you have not seen Nick's station before, it's well worth coming over for a look.
Activities include:
* Investigating a sub-optimal 70cm beam. Needs stern words, at the very least.
* Club SDR maintenance - investigate strong (non-M0NPK) signals on 2 metres (pagers or something) causing banding on the waterfall. Generally give the SDR some love. Additional filtering required?
* Feel free to bring along feeders/connectors/antennas etc. for analysis as we'll have the spectrum analyser & VSWR attachment there.
* Ham Van prep. ready for the field day season.
* A good old natter.
A huge thank-you to Nick for hosting us, as ever.
Humble apologies for the gremlins last meeting. We had multiple late-breaking challenges facing us and we did all we could under the circumstances.
