We welcome back Neil Savin G3SVN, in person, from the Maidenhead and District Amateur Radio Society with a follow up talk to his introduction to Smith Charts. This time he will look at a piece of test equipment which until fairly recently was out of reach for most radio amateurs: Vector Network Analysers (VNAs).
Applications include investigating and characterising/fault finding all sorts of RF components (antennas, cables, filters, mixers, amplifiers etc. etc.).
As ever, refreshments (tea/coffee) will be available as usual with a generous supply of biscuits. Please bring a mug if you wish to partake. You are also welcome to bring along your favourite tipple.
