McMichael Rally and RADARC club table success

Dear Member,

I am delighted to say that once again this year we had a very successful McMichael Rally, which is down to the great team of helpers we had from RADARC, BARC and the Burnham Beeches clubs. Thanks go to them and also all of you who came along. It was another hot day, but despite that we had a good turnout and the event raised in excess of £2000 to be split between the clubs.

Of course there were some suggestions for improvements next time as it was our first time at that site, but in general the feedback was very positive.

The club table again did a brilliant job, Vin G4JTR and his team which included Min G0JMS, Mike M0DYD, Graham M7IUZ -thanks go to them and any one else who assisted.

They did brilliantly raising £758.40 for the club. Thanks to anyone who made donations, especially Mike M0DYD, Richard M0SKP and Nick M0NPK who kindly went to ML&S to ask them for some donations for the club table - ML&S were very generous, so thanks to them as well. Thanks also to Nick M0NPK for transporting the tables and gazebo to and from the site for us, and for storing them in between.

Thanks again to all involved, a great event again.

Hi Simon, 

I totally agree, it was a successful rally, especially being the first at the White Waltham venue.  I would also like to say a big thank you to everyone from all three clubs and West London Aero Club who planned, organized, helped and donated. 

It takes a lot of everyone's time to run the rally, which wouldn't exist without such great support. 

We had one or two teething issues, but also some great responses from traders and visitors.
