Folks,

Next club meeting is this Thursday 9th July. It is another informal evening at Nick M0NPK's QTH.

Venue: Lever's Piece Farm, off Ryehurst Lane, Binfield, RG42 5QZ  what3words: https://what3words.com/gifted.areas.beside
If you are unsure, just look for the 80 foot tower and impressive antenna arrays.
Start time is nominally 8pm but people may be there a little earlier.

There are a few jobs to be done in preparation for the McMichael rally so any help is much appreciated.

It will be possible to leave equipment donations there for the RADARC club table. Space for this is limited but we will do what we can.

It's also a great opportunity for a natter and a chance to show off any toys you may have acquired recently (eg. at the Newbury rally). There is plenty of space with tables, power etc.

If you haven't been over to Nick's before, it's well worth a visit to see an amazing radio station.

It is, of course, likely to be hot but there is plenty of shade in the barns.

Thanks once again to Nick for hosting us.

Folks,

As expected, there are a few specific tasks which have cropped up that we need to get done tomorrow (Thursday evening) at Nick's:

a) Clear out ham van with stuff from VHF field day and stow it at Nick's (mainly antennas - also a SCAM12 mast (read big, heavy)). With a few folk that shouldn't take long.

b) Transport of club table equipment donations from Nick's to the rally. If you are going to the rally and are able to pick something up tomorrow evening and take it along on Sunday, that would be a great help. There is a table of stuff all marked up and ready to go at Nick's.

c) Anything else that crops up between now and tomorrow; stuff we've forgotten.

d) Enjoy the evening, perhaps with a cold beer. Marvel at Nick's station.

Any assistance is very much appreciated. Thank you.

Think that's about it, at least for now.
