Hi

Happy Christmas, I was hoping to try to get on the net tomorrow so I dug this area out of shed. I know it's for 70 megs and I've tried tuned it up and not have an enormous amount of luck and I was hoping to find a tuning chart or instructions. 

I think it's an end fed, I think if it was a 5/8 it will be longer and I think it would have ground plane radials. 

I can't remember if I bought it from Moonraker or there used to be a bloke down in the West country who made aerials, not very well from what I remember cuz I think it was a bloke that took the business over from a radio amateur who knew what aerials were and this bloke was just a machine shop man.

The black joiner in the middle looks very like ones that Sandpiper used. I think they were in South Wales, the history you describe matches what I remember of them, the business closed down some years ago. I think Radioworld ended up with their stock.
