I used to do an A5 leaflet drop with members help and i would suggest that it done at any local rallies before ours.
It may increase numbers and reduce the ones who turn up on auto pilot.

Newbury Rally Cancelled for 2025
It is with deep regret that the committee has no choice but to cancel this year's rally scheduled for the 6th of July 2025.
Following a recent announcement by the Highways Agency about major new road works, we have been forced to make this decision by the full weekend closure of the main access route to the Newbury Showground from the A34 and M4.
The A34 resurfacing work closes both the A34 northbound, and the local road leading to the showground, from the Friday night to the following Monday morning.
This road closure will significantly impact everyone who wanted to attend the rally regardless of which direction you approach the Showground.
The Highways Agency official diversion routes involve very lengthy and impractical diversions and are totally unsuitable for Showground users.
We have been working with both the Highways Agency and the Newbury Showground management team to find a workable solution but have been unable to.

The email subject makes you think this is the McMichael Rally, it isn't until you read the content you realise it's the Newbury rally

Suggest reading the title of the email...
It clearly states Newbury rally..
Let's hope it returns to June in 2026.
The McMichael rally has a new location... Just a reminder.

That's a shame. But without wanting to appear to be trying to profit from their misfortune, is it worth asking any of the display stands if they'd be interested in coming to McMichael the following weekend instead?
