On May 31, the Radar Hill Hiking Club and the Rotary Club of Saugatuck-Douglas are launching a "Trail Scramble Quest” ahead of National Trails Day.
While an ecologist in Saugatuck-Douglas was trying to foil a mad scientist’s plot, an urgent message to local hikers was intercepted and broken apart. Quest participants will use a smartphone app to visit local trails, put the message back together, and claim a prize!
To get you started, helpers will be on hand from 9 AM to noon at the Convention and Visitors Bureau, 95 Blue Star Highway. Don’t worry if you’re busy that day; the Quest will remain available for at least a year, and you can easily complete the adventure on your own! Find out more at
