From the American Hiking Society: “Earlier this month, the House of Representatives passed a transportation infrastructure bill (the INVEST Act, HR 3684) that included priorities for the hiking community including the Transit to Trails Act, the Outdoors for All Act, and reauthorizing and increasing support for the Recreational Trails Program. It’s now up to the Senate to include these bills and programs in their transportation infrastructure legislation. Read AHS’ letter of support for these provisions and ask your Senator to co-sponsor and pass the Transit to Trails Act.”
