Check out the sights and sounds of spring with the free Woodland Wildflower Walk at Sanctuary Woods Park, 4750 66th St. in Laketown Township.
The event is 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025, and kicks off the outdoor event season with monthly activities led by the Outdoor Discovery Center and sponsored by the Laketown Township Parks and Recreation Commission.
Suggested age range is 6 years old and up. Guardians stay with the class.
Registration is not required but appreciated.

The Woodland Wildflower Walk highlights migrating birds, wildflowers, and active mammals in the about 40-acre park. A naturalist leads participants on a hike around the lower loop that crosses Kelly Creek and the upper loop through a dune ecosystem with views of Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan.
The hike includes 170 steps between the lower and upper loops and several stairs and inclines in the upper loop.
