Announcing Radius v0.30

It’s release day and we’re back with another set of fixes, enhancements, and more that will make your Radius experience even better! Check out the release notes below to learn about what’s new, and please continue to drop feedback, questions, and feature requests over in the Radius Discord or in GitHub.

Upgrade to v0.30

An upgrade to v0.30 will require a full redeployment of your environment and applications. To try out v0.30:

  1. Delete any existing Radius environments: rad env delete
  2. Uninstall your existing Radius control plane: rad uninstall kubernetes
  3. Download and install the latest rad CLI
  4. Download and install the latest tooling
  5. Deploy a new v0.30 environment: rad init
  6. Try out the first-app experience and our how-to guides and begin rad-ifying your apps!

Terraform Recipes enhancements

We’ve added a bunch of new supported features and scenarios for Terraform Recipes, including sub-module support, Git module source support, and version ranges. We’re actively working on additional features such as private modules and any provider. Stay tuned for updates! Learn more in our docs.

Radius roadmap now published

The Radius roadmap is now published at https://aka.ms/radius-roadmap, where you can keep track of all the major features and improvements we are tracking. Check it out and make sure to upvote and leave feedback on your favorites!

Introducing the Radius dashboard

We’re excited to share a first look at a new experimental feature of Radius: the Radius dashboard! Our new dashboard allows you to interact with Radius environments, applications, and recipes from an easy-to-use graphical interface. Visit the dashboard repo to try it out today.

Radius presentation pack

Want to give a presentation on Radius? Check out the new Radius presentation pack, which provides a PowerPoint template, icons, and logos for you to download and use.

Radius email group for announcements

Make sure to share our Google group for Radius where we’ll be sending release announcements, community call updates, and other important project news.

Bug fixes and performance improvements

We've fixed a bunch of installation bugs and experience issues based on the amazing user feedback that you have all been submitting. Please make sure to continue to log Issues and report issues in Discord.
