So, those of you who were on site in Zürich; what's the story with
this new lady from New Zealand? Judging from the figures below she's
quite a tt/te profile! 21-6 against tt specialist Seifert! And 21-2
against Seifert in tennis.

If I get it right her match against Altmann might have been her first
ever Racketlon match (at least in a competition context) and looking
at the rest of the scores the result against Altmann might be
different if she just gets a second shot... Wonder if she plans to
come to the Worlds?

Silke Altmann (GER WR5) - Kadia Keller (NZL WR-) +8
(tt:9-21 ba:21-13 sq:21-7 te:19-21)

Silke Altmann (GER WR5) - Irene Seifert (GER WR3) +26
(tt:8-21 ba:21-4 sq:21-4 te:21-16)

Kadia Keller (NZL WR-) - Irene Seifert (GER WR3) +25
(tt:21-6 ba:13-21 sq:21-19 te:21-2)

An article on Keller has now emerged on a New Zeeland site:

http://www.bayofplentytimes.co.nz/localsport/storydisplay.cfm?storyid=3787551&thesection=localsport&thesubsection=&thesecondsubsection=

In summary:

She is a former New Zealand champ in table tennis - and, at the age of
43, still competitive, reaching the semifinal stage of the New Zealand
Championships last year.

Given a bad cold and the fact that she had never played a single match
of badminton before the Swiss Open her ending up no.2 in the Elite
Class is remarkable.

In her own words: "Considering I was just having a go in the good old
Kiwi way, it wasn't a bad first attempt."

Apparently, she is planning to take part at the World Champs in
Germany next month.
