Playing the right event for your ability

Just looking at the 1st tournament of next year tournaments, a certain
player has decieded after somehow getting to take part in the A event
and the over 45's in the world Open,surley he is either blind to his
own ability or just making this sport look bloody stupid,or we just
carry on and have the same situation at the world champs where good
standarsd players get pushed into the wrong event, either just stick
to his own age event(which he cant win either) or one of German's with
a ounce of common sence talk to him. PLEASE.
Or maybe next year i'l turn up at Wimbeldon and see if its ok to book
center court for what could be called a poor tennis match....get my
drift.
