On both a compiled from source 5.90 and a 5.3 downloaded and installed from the website I am unable to load the plai-typed language.  I get "collection not found" errors in both instances. Am I missing something? Do I need to take an extra step to add plai-typed?

Yes, you need to install the `plai-typed` package.

In DrRacket, you can choose "Install Package..." from the "File" menu, enter

plai-typed

in the dialog, and install.
