Starting July release (8.2) two weeks early?

In order to ensure that our summer release goes smoothly and is ready in plenty of time for the fall semester, some have suggested that we start the build process for version 8.2 two weeks early, on June 15th, with all of our traditional month-indexed release dates (branch day, beginning of testing, etc.) moved up by two weeks as well. I think this is an excellent idea.

Does this sound like a reasonable idea to y’all?
