Hi Racketeers,

I'm very interested in Jay McCarthy's mode-lambda and related projects for 2D games. However, the current version on GitHub is currently broken on 6.2.1 due to a transitive dependency problem with gui-lib:

...[snip]...
The following out-of-date packages are listed as dependencies of lux
and they will be automatically updated:
   gui-lib (have 1.9, need 1.13)
DrRacket install: package installed in a different scope
  package: gui-lib
  current scope: user
  installed in scope: installation

The reason I'm posting to this list is that it works fine with an older dev build (6.2.900.8). I'm guessing that the default gui-lib version is still 1.9 while dev builds are ahead on 1.13? Is there a reason 1.13 didn't make it into 6.2.1?

I'm happy running the dev build for now. I'm really just wondering if/when to expect a bump of gui-lib in the stable release (or if I can help with that somehow).

Many thanks,

-Aaron

6.2.1 was a patch only release for educators.

The next full release will be in October. You can always check out the
calendar here: https://github.com/plt/racket/wiki/Release-Calendar
