Dear all,

We are really glad to announce that the 2-player planning track of the www.GVGAI.net competition is now open for submissions. For those of you familiarized with the single-player track, the way controllers are executed in the server is slightly different:

 1) Your controller is submitted and compiled in the server. From that moment on, the results that you obtained with previous submissions is ignored.

 2) Your controller will be taken into consideration to play against other agents in a continuous process. This means that your agent will be paired with the other competitors multiple times in order to determine the rankings.

 3) The rankings use a Glicko2 rating system per game. All controllers will be ranked by game using this rating and they will receive points, as usual, following an F1 scoring system. The winner of the set will be the one with most points across all games.

For the moment, you are only able to submit to the training set. The validation set will be ready soon.

Please, do not hesitate to contact us if you have any issues or questions.

Best of luck!
Raluca Gaina & Diego Perez
