Hey everybody, I'm going to actually start using this list a bit to
talk about what's going on with the code. Shouldn't be to painful for
you, I hope.

Thanks to Montana's Al Pendergrass, we have a user manual: <http://www.obra.org/racing_on_rails/manual.pdf
> I've linked to it from the main wiki page as well: <http://trac.butlerpress.com/racing_on_rails/
>

Montana's MtBRA is running a site off of the Racing on Rails code, and
BC (British Columbia) Cycling will launch their site soon, as well.

John Kelly of 72mm contributed a "forgot my password" feature, and
laid the groundwork for a member login system. Ryan Rickerts of the
WSBA is finishing up an USA Cycling export. And I've got CMS page
editing just about ready to deploy—it should make content edits a lot
less painful.

More behind the scenes, we've now got two redundant servers running in
a pro data center. The Racing on Rails code is now on Rails 2.3, and
is a lot easier to get started with (thanks Shawn Goulet and Alistair
Howard for working through that with me). Lastly, the code behind the
admin UI has been vastly improved. Thatwill help us add new features
once we're done with updates for 2009 rule changes.

Thanks again to everyone who has lent a hand,
Scott
