Are you working on Human Rights and Racial Justice?  Please Join the Human Rights Project in preparing a SHADOW REPORT for the Convention on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD).  We are  organizing a NYC CERD Working group and need your participation! This is an opportunity for organizers, advocates, and the community at large to make racial justice a priority and to hold the US accountable to growing racial inequalities.  In 2008 the US will report to the CERD committee in Geneva and we need to make sure they hear our voice.  The shadow report process is our only global opportunity to be heard and we need to be organized.  This orientation will provide an overview of CERD/shadow reporting and and how you can be a part of this important process.
