World Possible Executive Director Report - 3/22 - 4/4

Hi Team,

 

It’s been a whirlwind of a two weeks, but hopefully this report helps people identify ongoing work that can inspire or help.

 

Highlights:

·         World Possible sent volunteer Dave Moore loaded with tech supplies to Ghana to support EVCOafrica.org

·         World Possible reloaded volunteer Regional Director Joan Fuetsch and Country Director Israel Quic with supplies for Guatemala

·         RACHEL Pi 64GB in Español now available (includes KA-Lite and expanded Spanish videos)

·         Ed Resor (WP) has led World Possible ’s collaboration with Bicycles for Humanity large scale projects on iEmpowerment in Namibia and Ghana.  Ed collaborated with the team as well as some of RACHEL’s biggest advocates, supporters, and users at Uconnect and Hackers for Charity.

·         Hackers for Charity (Sam and Johnny) continue to be working overtime supporting RACHEL – see this video of 13 year old Emily who Hackers for Charity helped deploy RACHEL!

·         FastOnline content combed through by John Walker, will connect with groups asking for it (was not Practical Answers content).

·         www.worldpossible.org and www.rachelfriends.org get a facelift (Please pardon our dust, both remain works in progress).

·         RACHEL Project Google Group for shared collaboration amongst all RACHEL Project supporters

·         Some highlighted e-mails are attached, including a great thank you note (Spanish).
