Hello -

With May just around the corner, I thought now would be a good time to check in with our San Diego International Triathlon athletes!

Training

Training at Rehab United is currently underway for all SDIT athletes!  We still have slots available for this race so spread the word.  Everyone should be receiving weekly training updates from Rehab United.  If you are not, please email Coach Justin.  Stay consistent and motivated in your training for the best results on race day!

Fundraising

Your fundraising should also be well underway.  Trust me - you don’t want to be scrambling to meet the minimum come race day in June.  Stay on top of your potential donors NOW and you won’t have to worry about it later.  If you need some ideas or help using the website, let me know.

Our top SDIT fundraisers so far are:

1) Renata - $1144

2) Marilee - $483

3) Marianne - 445

Fun Stuff

We will be planning our next happy hour social so keep an eye on your email for an invite!  Also, don’t forget that The Ride is premiering next Monday at Edwards Mira Mesa.  Email me if you want a ticket and entrance to the VIP reception.

Why We Race

The National MS Society has just funded 50 new research projects as part of our comprehensive strategy to STOP disease progression, RESTORE function already lost and ultimately END MS forever. New projects include clinical trials of new treatments, studies of molecules that may stimulate repair and comparisons of viruses that may be involved in triggering immune attacks in people with MS.
