The Ziibiwing Center in partnership with Sundance Institute are bringing an international film festival to Mt. Pleasant May 15-17. The film festival is called FILM FORWARD: Advancing Cultural Dialogue.

We will be screening films and hosting discussions with two filmmakers at the Celebration! Cinema in Mt. Pleasant on Monday, May 16 & Tuesday, May 17. All screenings and discussions are FREE and open to the public. Tickets will be available the day of at the Celebration! Cinema theatre box office. A flyer with the full event schedule is attached.

EVENT SCHEDULE:

Sunday, May 15 --PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Monday, May 16 --FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Screenings: 11:15am – 5:30pm
Discussion with "La Mission" Director/Screenwriter, Peter Bratt: 5:30-6:30pm

Tuesday, May 17 --FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Screenings: 11:15am – 5:30pm
Discussion with "Boy" Director/Screenwriter, Taika Waititi: 5:30-6:30pm
