Good Morning friends,
I hope and pray all is well with each of you!!! Tomorrow, Friday November 2nd, I will be at the Black Arts and Cultural Center from 5-8pm for an Artists Reception. My exhibit, Beautifully Wrapped: The Fashion, Tradition, and Culture of Headwrapping will be on display and I'll be sharing how I'm using headwrapping to raise funds for women's development programming in Senegal. I'll also be demonstrating headwrapping techniques :)
As some of you know, I have an annual effort to raise funds for the education and empowerment of young women. This year, proceeds got to support the 10,000 Girls program in Senegal. A wonderful project where young ladies learn the skills to not only succeed themselves, but to contribute to the positive evolution of their entire community, country and the world. THEY INSPIRE ME! Therefore, part of my purpose in coming back to Kalamazoo, is to sell our calendars! For those who are unable to stop by tomorrow, please support my efforts by purchasing one of our 2013 wall calendars (either our headwrapping, or Arabic Calligraffiti)! They are $12.99/ea; $100 for 10; or $300 for a box of 50.
Here are the links for purchasing:

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU FRIDAY! Even if only for 5 minutes, come show your face!!!
