Society tells us to check a
box and then edit ourselves to fit into it. But isn't a limited view
of an individual or group of people what drives dehumanization that
leads to racism?
The young adult staff of fire will be tackling stereotypes,
ingrained racism and exploring why some people get left out of the race
conversation in a youth written and presented reader's theater.
Prepare to be informed and entertained in a reader's theater performance with a community conversation to follow.
Doors open @ 7 pm
$3 admission
Waterstreet coffee and tea available for purchase
