Dear All,
March is the month and 13th is the day when there was a new beginning in the Rotary Movement, when the first ever Rotaract Club"Rotaract Club of North Charlotte, North Carolina, USA"was charterd on 13th March, 1968. Now, March is here and it's time for all of us to come together and celebrate the 43rd Rotaract Week. So, with the aim to celebrate the Rotaract Week in a memorable fashion, Rotaract District Committee is coming up with a Rotaract Fete "Youth Fest" which has been initiated and hosted by "Rotaract Club of Kopundol".
The program is being organized to bring all the Rotaract Clubs in one platform to celebrate the Rotaract week with the framework of fellowship and service. The main event of the program is a "Mega blood donation camp" which is being organized jointly in collaboration with Godawari Alumni Association.The blood donation camp is being organized with the target of achieving the highest number of blood donation in a day. So, to achieve this target we request all the interested clubs to send the proposals(letter of interest) to be the co-hostof the mega blood donation camp. All the cost incurred for the blood donation will be shared between the co-hosting clubs and the GAA. We request you to send the proposals by 7th March 2011.
There will be lots of fun filled event along with the blood donation camp so that we can truly enjoy the moto of Rotaract "Fellowship Through Service". Apart from being the co-host of the " Mega Blood Donation Camp", all the Rotaract Clubs can be the part of this mega event whereby all the interested clubs can come up with any ideas and have their own stalls during the event by paying amount of Rs.500 for the stall. We request all the clubs to be involve in this project to help us celebrate the 43rd Rotaract Week in a grand way.
To summarize,the youth fest will feature the following events:
· Mega Blood Donation
· Photo Exhibition(Photos of the winner of Image School Photo Competiton)
· Food Stalls
· Game Stalls
· Live Music
· Bingo
