I'm using dark mode in CCS12 (on Windows 11), however some text is unreadable (black text on dark background). I've searched all the different preferences options where colors can be set, but I can't find the option(s) for the text marked in the picture below.

CCS dark mode support is mediocre at best even when everything is working as expected. One thing I would like to suggest is trying out our new CCS Theia environment. It is based off Theia IDE, which in turn is based on VS Code. The dark mode support is much better there and while current public releases are only for MSPM0, we have other builds that support other device families like C2000. Theia looks interesting, although I'm not sure it would be the right choice for us at the moment. We are using the C2000 F28388D MCU, with Simulink applications on CPU1 and CPU2, and a CCS SYS/BIOS C application on the CM core. And Simulink also uses CCS when building its generated code.

I was wondering how it would be possible to implement a button onto my website which I can click to get a light/dark mode activated- simply changing the background to dark and its components such as the navigation bar etc..

It also has automatic mode. It knows if user has dark mode in their phone/computer settings. It's not free, but if you have any problems I'll fix them. With free tutorials your emails won't get replied.

Basically creating a button, and that button will add a specific colour theme to all sections in the page. This way it's easy to edit how the dark mode should look, specifying each element and editing them easily.

Quite a bit of other customisations are needed as well. I can't share my entire plugin code (as it's something I've spent weeks on) but here's a video that tells exactly how it works and how a dark mode plugin can be made. It's pretty long and detailed.

I found my Shopify liquid code editor suddenly changed to a new layout today. It looks great but I found a big problem very quickly - I cannot switch to dark view anymore. As a programmer, I have to spend a lot of time on these codes and I need dark mode to ensure my eyes won't get tired easily. Is there any way to enable dark mode or to switch back to old layout?

Shielding: Research shows that full shielding can reduce sky glow by 50% to over 90% when compared to a typical mix of partially shielded and unshielded lighting1. As shielding dramatically reduces light trespass and glare as well, it is and should be the highest priority in lighting codes.

Spectrum: Specification of yellow light sources (HPS and PCA LED, or NBA LED) for the majority of lighting uses can reduce sky glow by 70% to almost 90% when compared to white sources such as metal halide, fluorescent and LED2 (even low-CCT LED).

As an often critical matter in the application and enforcement of lighting codes where community legal, lighting design, and enforcement resources or expertise are nearly always very limited, lighting codes based on easily quantifiable aspects of lighting use most directly related to cross-boundary impacts are much more efficient, requiring much less expertise and fiscal resources to administer. The codes offered as models below specify shielding, lamp type and amount standards that are demonstrated to be easily and effectively interpreted, applied and enforced without specialized technical training. Note: Though there are dozens of lighting codes around the US that establish lumens per acre limits following the pattern of these local innovative lighting codes, the Flagstaff Dark Skies Coalition cannot recommend any of these as guides. Most or all have been substantially modified with the frequent introduction of lighting technical, legal and other errors; many have dramatically raised the lumen caps to the point where there will be no effective improvement over otherwise unregulated lighting. Any community using one of the codes recommended here as a base for their code should modify these codes with extreme caution. I just made new dark mode for customer portal there is also optional button theme switch but for that you have to add some JS code as well. Let me know if you need that.

The City of Flagstaff holds the distinct honor of being designated by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) as the world's first Dark Sky Community in 2001. One of the city's requirements to continue to hold this prestigious accreditation is the submission of an annual report. This annual report is completed and submitted by city staff, it is developed in concert and collaboration with the Flagstaff Dark Skies Coalition.

As an International Dark Sky City, Flagstaff strives to meet certain standards with regards to light pollution. Flagstaff has been recognized for its pioneering work in the development and implementation of lighting codes that balance the need to preserve Flagstaff's dark sky resource with the need for safe lighting practices.

Four safes can be found and opened in Alone in the Dark. These safes are located in areas visited during the main story, so they are relatively easy to find and stumble across. But unless you know their combination codes, which are often deciphered from clues, you may not be able to open the safe.
