Before, Now & Then (Indonesian title: Nana[2]) is a 2022 Indonesian period drama film, written and directed by Kamila Andini. It stars Happy Salma as Nana, a woman who is impacted by violent times in rural Indonesia during 1940s to 1960s.[3] The film is adapted from the first chapter of the novel Jais Darga Namaku (lit. 'My Name Is Jais Darga') by Ahda Imran, telling the true story of Raden Nana Sunani, a woman who lived in the 1960s West Java.[2]
The film won the CJ ENM Award at the 2021 Asian Project Market Awards during the 26th Busan International Film Festival, winning $10,000 in cash.[8] It also received a post-production grant of $50,000 from Purin Pictures in November 2021.[9]
The film had its world premiere in competition at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival on 12 February 2022.[4] Prior to, Wild Bunch acquired distribution rights to the film in January 2022.[10] The North American distribution rights was acquired by Film Movement in August 2022.[11]
On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 100% of 16 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 7.5/10.[15] Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a score of 70 out of 100, based on 8 critics, indicating "generally favorable" reviews.[16]
Leslie Felperin of The Hollywood Reporter described the film as "an intoxicating, slow-burn melodrama" and praised Batara Goempar's cinematography and Ricky Lionardi's score, calling it "above and beyond".[17] Writing for Variety, Michael Nordine compared the film to the work of Wong Kar-wai and Apichatpong Weerasethakul, stating, "[...] moves with its own dreamy cadence, with narrative developments washing over the film like waves".[18] Wendy Ide of Screen International lauded Salma's performance and described the film as "a handsomely mounted period piece, which acknowledges the strength required by previous generations of Indonesian women to rise above the patriarchal demands of a restrictive society".[19] Rory O'Connor at The Film Stage gave the film a 'B' grade and called it "begins with a ruthless decapitation, it is relentlessly well-mannered: all ointment, no flies".[20]

Family Victim is part of a series of ethnographic films on severe mental illness in Indonesia, based on material drawn from 12 years of person-centered research by director and anthropologist Robert Lemelson. The film focuses on Estu Wardhani, a young Javanese man from a highly respected family. Initially, Lemelson focuses on Estu's neuropsychiatric symptoms. Only after the illness and death of his father and the birth of his second daughter does Estu begin to "live properly." Family Victim addresses the universal issue of how families and communities interpret and attempt to control the behavior of troubled and troublesome members. Family Victim examines the bi-directional influences between an individual considered to have a disruptive or troublesome personality and his social world.

The Indoraptor is very similar in appearance to the Indominus rex, but his body length is about half of that of his predecessor. He sports talons that are similar to those of a Velociraptor, and his color is primarily black with a golden-yellow streak running from the base of the neck to his tail, which bears strong resemblance to Blue's metallic blue streak. Like the Indominus rex, the Indoraptor possesses hands with four fingers, an opposable thumb and three main digits. The shape of his head bears a resemblance to that of a Tyrannosaurus rex, and he has a sprinkled red mark around his eye orbit. The skin around the Indoraptor's mouth is flaky and peeling away in some areas and is also sickly-looking, with ragged teeth similar to those of the Indominus rex. His head also bears two crests above his eyes, similar to that of an Allosaurus, although a little smaller. He is typically shown walking in a quadrupedal stance, though he can stand, walk, and run bipedally on occasion, which gives him an intimidating look that towers over his prey.

He then climbed into her room through the window and was about to snatch her from her bed when Owen shows up, armed with a gun he'd taken from a dead mercenary. He fired two rounds at the dinosaur but it doesn't do much, bar stunning him for a brief time. As he approached Owen, ready to attack, Blue arrived and assaulted him, keeping him occupied while Owen and Maisie escaped through the window.
The Indoraptor pushed Blue out the window, with the two being separated from their fight, before cornering Owen and Maisie on the roof. Claire arrived behind it and pointed the laser gun at Owen, prompting him to attack, in an attempt to get him to fall through weakened glass. He nearly fell through the glass roof, but managed to haul himself back up and recovered.

The results of the research findings reveal the value of friendship between Masha and the bear in four components of friendship, namely familiarity in interaction, trust between each other, acceptance in attitude and social, and support provided by both parties in a friendly relationship.
