persistent volume in rabbitmq installation on kubernetes

I followed instructions on the github to install rabbitmq on ubernetes, https://github.com/rabbitmq/rabbitmq-peer-discovery-k8s/tree/master/examples/k8s_statefulsets

This yaml doesnt use persistent volume or volume claim templates in the statefulsets. helm chart is at https://github.com/helm/charts/blob/master/stable/rabbitmq-ha/templates/statefulset.yaml

Should we use persistent volume in rabbitmq statefulset or not.

you have to add the configuration to persist the message on the example [1] if you need to persist the data.

Thank you for responding. I guess whoever created that github needs to update the stateful set to include pvc i.e persistence storage. I will request michaelklishin to add persistence to stateful set

RabbitMQ is open source software. Instead of requesting that others do what you want/think is right,
consider submitting a pull request. I have no idea what specifically you are asking for.
