Hello, community.

I have installed RabbitMQ-server on my Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Server, and I have also enabled the management plugins needed to enable the access to the Web UI. However, I cannot access from my web browser in Windows 10. Does anyone know what could be happening? Thank you all.

The RabbitMQ version is 3.11

Hi Adrian, have you tried to access the management rest api from within your ubuntu server? using curl or wget? That way you can check whether the problem is a network issue or it is really a RabbitMQ issue.

Hey Adrian,

some simple checks that might help you to find the problem:
  • As written by Marcial > can you reach the management API from within your ubuntu server?
  • Did you check the logs on whether the plugin was started?
  • Did the application opened up the ports > check with netstat (default 15672 for http / 15671 for https > if configured)?
  • Is the firewall enabled?
    • Did you add an exclusion to make the management API reachable from outside?
  • ...
Hope this helps a bit. If you provide the startup logs, we might be able to help to identify whether this is an application or infrastructure topic.

BR,

Philipp
