Having RabbitMQ initiate connection to producer?

Hello,

In a scenario where a producer is in a "DMZ" type zone, and the queue server would be in a restricted internal zone behind a firewall, it would be ideal to have the internal server (RabbitMQ) initiate the connection to the producer, to avoid having to open the firewall to connections from the DMZ to the internal protected zone.

Is this possible? It appears that everything I'm reading requires the producer / client to initiate the connection itself.

Of course, a little middleware-type connector / broker could be written for this purpose, but that could be a lot more work ...
