Delivery ack timeout on long running tasks

Apologies as this post is a bit similar to a previous message (which I've deleted) to remove unnecessary details.

I have tasks that run for a long period of time (potentially longer than 24 hours).

My consumers create a new green thread on each consumed message, processes the task, and finally ack's the message.

Since a new green thread is created, heartbeats are not an issue.

I could remove the Delivery Acknowledgement Timeout, but it's recommended not to.

What are my options for this issue?

Set the timeout to a value larger than the maximum you expect. You can set the timeout to 48 hours for example.
